Trucker (5k)

The Truckers are a breed apart from other vehicle drivers. They have to be, for they are the ones that run the convoys of supplies from one city to another, braving the elements, the gangs, the multicorps and all the other hazards that exist between the cities. While a Sanctioned Op can just return to a city after a hard days driving and get their techs to fix the Interceptor, a Trucker is on his own. His rig breaks down, he has to fix it, and fix it quick before someone realises. He's his own backup and in the wastes that has to count for something. That and the fact that he'll risk his life trip after trip after trip. It's not a glamourous job but someone has to do it.


Game Rule Information:
Truckers have the following game statistics.
Truckers must come from a PeeZee or Town Native background.

Abilities:
Trucking is about driving big rigs and taking care of yourself. As a result, DEX is useful for driving and shooting whilst STR and CON are useful for looking after yourself.

Class Features:
All of the following are class features of the Trucker.

Weapons and Armour Proficiency:
Truckers are proficient with all advanced firearms, light armour and vehicular weapons.

Bonus Feat:
Each time the Trucker is entitled to a bonus feat, they may choose from the following list:
Born to the Turret, Focused, Improved Critical (vehicle weapons only), Improved Initiative, Lightning Reflexes, Rapid Fire (vehicle weapons only), Suppressing Fire (vehicle weapons only), Vehicle Charging, Vehicle Dodge, Vehicle Focus, Vehicle Gunning, Vehicle Ramming, Weapon Focus (vehicle weapons only), Weapon Specialisation (vehicle weapons only).

Combat Trucking:
As the Combat Driving feat. but only applying to trucks and rigs.

Gunner:
As in Redline.

Hard Core Repair:
As in Redline.

Hard Core Trucking:
As Hard Core Driving, but applying to trucks and rigs only.

Starting Equipment:
A Trucker has $350,000 with which to buy their rig (tractor and trailer) and any personal gear.
