The following is a list of all rule changes made to the SRD Psionic Rules, which mainly involes a lot of cutting out of material that doesn't fit with the Dark Future background. Whilst you can download the SRD and use the following to modify it, I have produced a revised SRD (104 page rich text document, 350k) with the material taken out. Please note though, that this SRD does not contain any of the modifications to any of the rules save for the Psion Class Feats Table, it simply removes everything not required, and as such is only useable for the Dark Future setting.


Psionic Classes:
Only the Psion class is available, with the following modifications:

At first level only 2 psionic combat modes are known.
There are no psicrystals.

There are no specific discipline anymore, instead there is one generic discipline covering all powers which has an Associated Ability of INT. This discipline has access to a wide range of powers, but note that a lot of the SRD psionic powers are not available.

A psions class skills are as follows:
Autohypnosis (WIS), Concentration (CON), Gather Information (CHA), Knowledge (psionics) (INT), Psicraft (INT), Remote View (INT) and Sense Motive (WIS).

All normal character backgrounds are available for psions. Psion also comes with advanced firearms and light armour proficency. A psion may gain a bonus feat at second level and then every fourth level after that, with a final feat at 20th level (so 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, 18th and 20th). These feats may be taken from the Security Consultant class of bonus feats (not class feats).

Psionic Skills:
All psionic skills are available as normal. However, because psionic devices cannot be made by humanity at this time it is avisable to check with your gamesmaster first about the use of this skill as it might not get any use.

MissiveSends a one-way telepathic message to subject.

HypercognitionDeduce almost anything.
Improved ClairtangencyUse telekinesis at any distance.
Mind BlankSubject immune to mental/emotional effects, scrying, and remote viewing.
Mind SeedSubject slowly becomes the manifester.
Recall DeathFoe vividly recalls its future death and dies.
True DominationDominated subjects less likely to defy the manifester's will.

9th-Level Psion Powers

ConfidanteManifester and another share a permanent mental bond.
